GHOST ADVENTURES MEETS D.E.B.S
After starting their ghost-hunting YouTube channel, a friend group’s relationship is put to the test when one of them falls for the ghost they’re meant to capture.
This project is what I’m currently working on for my senior thesis at Moore College of Art & Design. The video attached is a very small teaser of what’s yet to come from the final product.

mama, i’m not angry, is a reflection on the relationship between black mothers and their children, particularly their daughters. The film uses only archival imagery and footage along with a mix of blending techniques and spoken word.

Bria Parks is a filmmaker with a passion for editing and post-production. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, she journeyed to Philadelphia where she obtained her BFA at Moore College of Art & Design after beginning her journey at The University of the Arts.
From a young age, Bria has enjoyed making videos to both capture memories and create entertainment for friends. She got her start making comedic YouTube videos in her bedroom to taking on the role of lead editor for her high school’ student news program.
Since then, Bria’s worked on a variety of projects ranging from dramatic student films to corporate training modules. Despite the variety of genre, one theme remains consistent throughout all of Bria’s work: uplifting marginalized voices.
Bria’s focus has always been on helping those underrepresented in media see themselves in a way that is both positive yet true, all while sharing a laugh or two along the way.
